FiSH 2009 Rostock

We’re chillin’  at the sea right now.

To be nominated at the FiSH Rostock has got a lot of advantages. Our film is shown directly at the Stadthafen (cityharbour). We’re staying in a gym that is strangely located above the cinema.

Our film is shown at 8 p.m. . Till the presentation we’re relaxing on board of the Georg Büchner, where the award show will be held.

The short films are really spicy and juicy, due to the directors (film students?), but funny.

The sun is shining, the weather is sweet.

Update: Lucky as we are, a bronze medal and a can of well lasting Kipper filets are ours now.

Gizmodo GoMinimanGo! Contest

We entered Weltraffer in the GoMinimanGo!-Videocontest at www.gizmodo.com . The contest was, of course, about the Minifigure, whose 30. birthday was celebrated. What luck that Weltraffer fits in this category (with 146 different Minifigures). 
This evening we received an email by gizmodo: We reached the second place and won a vintage lego set, either the Galaxy Explorer or the Yellow Castle, depending on the choice of the winner.

Steinzeit im phæno

Ab dem 16.9.2008 wird es im phæno in Wolfsburg eine große mittmach Lego ausstellung geben: SteinZeit im phæno – Bau mit am großen LEGO® Traum
Da Brickfilme mittlerweile irgendwie zu Lego dazugehören werden dort auch Filme von Mikro Horstman und unser Weltraffer

Update 2:
Die Steinerei wird wieder eindrucksvoller und findet dieses Jahr im phæno in Wolfsburg statt.

Die SteinZeit scheint zu gefallen und wurde verlängert, nun habt ihr noch bis zum 3.2.2009 Zeit den Weg nach Wolfsburg zu finden.

Weltraffer

Almost every European child plays with Lego and with it we traveled in our fantasy through the eras of time – from the old ages to the future- from knights to Star Wars.
Following our childish dreams our aim was to revive the last 5 milllion years of mankind history by using Lego Bricks – so come with us on our travel trough time, compressed in the time of 4 minutes and the space of 625 square centimeters.
